About SafeSesh

SafeSesh was created because getting access to basic harm-reduction tools in Ireland shouldn’t be difficult, but for a long time, it was.

I’ve always been curious about drug testing and reagent testing kits, but they were never easy to find here. If you wanted to test something, you usually had to order kits from abroad, wait weeks for delivery, and hope they arrived in time. In Ireland, they were essentially non-existent.

Over the years, I’ve seen first-hand what can happen when people unknowingly take dodgy or misrepresented substances. In many cases, the harm caused could have been avoided if simple testing tools had been available. That gap is what SafeSesh exists to fill.

Who SafeSesh is for

This isn’t about encouraging drug use, it’s about acknowledging reality and supporting safer, more informed decisions.

Our approach to harm reduction

Harm reduction matters. While there’s plenty of information available online (some better than others), there are very few practical tools accessible to people in Ireland.

The reality is that if someone is going to take a substance anyway, having the ability to test it first can make a real difference. Reagent testing isn’t perfect, but it’s a meaningful step toward reducing unnecessary harm.

SafeSesh exists to make those tools easier to access.
